[I won a copy of this book through Firstreads]
I can honestly say that this book has been on my mind all day long. It took me a while to finish it because I have not had much time to read, but I must say that I loved this book.
I liked the characters a lot, I loved Dylan (he is my sweetheart now), he's such a hot, sexy and cute barista and you know what? He is a guitarist too!
So, this story is about a girl named Carina Chen. She's a young investment banking intern and she needs a place to stay so she rooms with Dylan Jewell for the Summer.
Dylan is a 'guitar-playing barista' and he likes women (a lot), he doesn't like rules because he is a 'free' person. When Carina appears in his life she insists on rules of conduct because she gets attracted to him and that's the only way to avoid a romantic relationship between the two of them.
This book is about the story of love between the main characters. He is a guy who never gets attached to a real relationship and she's a girl that is not used to be used by any guy, she wants a real relashionship and she things that Dylan is not capable of giving her that (and she is kind of right).
At some point I have to admit that I got kind of frustrated because I was not liking the 'game' that Carina was playing. I was just thinking: "omg Carina Chen, Dylan is perfect, he's being cute and lovely and you are playing with his feelings just because you don't want to lose your job? What a shame girl... if you don't want him just give him to me!" but then the frustration has passed and I began to find that they were fine together.
