“Our story is over, yes, but our journey isn't, because we'll always live on the edge until the day we die.”
I don't like to talk about second books or sequels, but I have to do it... so here I am to share my opinion about it!
This book was great... I mean, I have to admit that I did prefer the first book but this one was not bad.
The reading was not too slow but it was not too fast.... I don't know, I just didn't love it... basically it was an average reading...
I read this book because I decided that this month I'll only read sequels since I have a bunch of books, so I'll not start new series this month (even if I have a lot of them to start)... I'll only read sequels and stand alones... so this book is one of the sequels I have on my shelf, which means that I needed to read it because it is the second and the last book of this 'series'... I mean... this duology!
“It’s like, you know, it doesn’t matter what you do, even if you try to replicate an experience down to every last detail, it’ll never be the way it was when it happened naturally the first time.”
So, this book is the 'continuation' of 'The Edge of Never' by J.A. Redmerski... and let me say to you that I LOVED the first book!
Let's talk a little about the story!
5 months passed and the main characters (Andrew and Camryn) are still in love (which I think is pretty obvious because when it is about NA and YA romances the main characters are always together (forever and ever)... I'm so sorry for the spoiler, now you know that they will stick together! At least, if you are a big fan of happily ever after you'll love this book thanks to my spoiler! See? Sometimes spoilers are good! (maybe they are not... so sorry...)
As I was explaining... Camryn and Andrew are together and happy when something really bad happens (nop, I'll not tell you what it is)... thanks to that tragedy their relationship is put to a really big (ultimate) test... Andrew has to make some hard decisions and Camryn has to numb her pain...
Will they manage to overcome those problems and stay together?! (Of course they will... I told you before!)
