“If I were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If we were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one.”
I really have no words to describe how much I loved this book... how much I love this whole story.
When I finished the first book I just knew that I was going to love the second book and the third book equally, I know that I didn't read the third book yet but I just know that I'm going to love it... I mean, this story is so fantastic, I love the mystery in it, I love everything, I love the "creepy" parts, I love the romantic parts, I just love everything and I'm quite obsessed with it.
The main character for me is the best character I ever read about, I read a lot of books and I never thought that I could say this, but it is the truth... Mara is an awesome character and I love quite everything about that girl. I can relate to Mara sometimes, not because we are alike, but because I totally understand some of her doubts and problems and that kind of stuff... and sometimes I kind of feel that we are the same... she has a lot of me, I mean, not a lot of stuff that I show to people, but a lot of stuff that I am "inside", stuff that people don't know about.
When I wrote the review of "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer" I said that it was awsome, and that I loved it but I also said that I didn't found it creepy... and that's the truth, I didn't found the first book of the trilogy creepy... the second book, I can't say the same thing. It was not a total HORROR story of course, I didn't sh*t my pants reading it, but some parts confused me so much that I was kind of afraid of what was going to happen to the characters, some parts were quite awkward, quite scary because of some things that happened... I don't know... reading this books I just believed in some things during the entire book and at the end of it... PUFF, it was totally gone.
Reading this book was an adventure, I was reading it so fast in some parts because I really wanted to know what was going to happen next, these books... I mean... THIS TRILOGY is so freaking addictive. I'm really obsessed with these books, with the story... with the characters... I can't believe that I'm currently reading the third and the last book... after I finish the third book I'm going to lose Mara and Noah... I'll have to let the story go, the characters... and I'm having trouble thinking about that because I don't want this story to end. I never felt this way with a trilogy or a series... or even a stand alone... I normally don't like trilogies... I normally don't read all of the books of a series because I get tired... what's happening with me? Yes, I don't even know! I get really emotional when I finish one book of this trilogy, so I got quite emotional when I finished "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer", I got really emotional when I finished "The Evolution of Mara Dyer" and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get even more emotional when I finish the last book.
