THIS BOOK WAS SENT TO ME IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW !
So the first thing I have to say about this book is that it is not my type of book, totally... it is based around religion and terrorism and all of that stuff and honestly I don't apreciate those kind of things...
This book is about a girl who is kind of forced to leave her home... this story is basically about just two persons... the two main characters, Aliya and Dan that are brother and sister... so yes, there's no romance in it at all, just the "friendship" between brother and sister... just a reflection of the society... our society.
The only thing that I can say that I really enjoyed in this book was the development of the characters.. yes, I kind of liked that, but the rest of the story was really slow in my opinion and I was not interesting about knowing what was going to happen next at all... and believe when I say that I HATE saying it because I hate not liking books (if you know what I mean).
In this book were not any surprises... you basically find out everything alone, you don't need to wait or to read more just to know important stuff about this story... because it is seriously SO predictable...
I didn't hate this book, honestly... I just didn't like it because it was not my type of book... I'm not a fan of this kind of story... BUT I feel like I didn't lost time reading it, I mean... I think that EVERY book deserves to be read, even if that book is not your type of read... obviously that when I know that I'm not going to like some book I just don't read it, but I didn't know that about this one so I'm glad that I read it... one more different life to my "LIVES" collection.
