If you read the first review that I wrote about this book (check the review here) you can probably notice that I watched the movie first and then I read the book... and all because I like to know the characters and I like to have a image of them before I read what the author of the book has to 'say', otherwise I think that I'll always be disappointed with the choices of the 'director', so if I watch the movie first I have enough time to mentalize myself who are the characters.
In terms of characters: I liked a lot the actors that were picked up. Now, thanks to the movie I have another 'fictional' and 'non fiction' crush (all at the same time)... and guess who? Of course that my new crush is Max Irons, best known as Jared Howe (the boyfriend of Melanie in this story).

In terms of story and scenario: Omg, forget it... there's so much lack of information in the movie...
When I read the book I was so upset because I loved the movie... that movie that I saw the day before I started reading the book... and then I was not in love anymore with the movie because while I was reading the book it was like I was 'seeing' a different thing... like I was reading another story... as if in the movie they'd cut all the important parts and changed the remaining ones! And for me that was the worst part... The day before I was crazy because I cried while I was watching the movie and because I loved it... and the day after I was 'crying' because the story was a lot different and because I rated the movie a 10 stars at IMDb... despite that I didn't change the score that I gave to the movie... (yes I know... shame on me...), BUT, at least I gave to the book 5 stars! I'm a good person after all... see?!
