My rating is 4,5* and not only 4* because I seriously liked this book. It was one of my favorite books but I knew that I couldn't give it a 5* because I read some books even better than this one... What a shame. It was hard task for me (I really liked the story and the characters).
Winter Craig (the book's protagonist)has one best girfriend and a best boyfriend named Spencer. They were friends since EVER and she had feelings for him and he had feelings for her a long time but they have not admitted until the day before the big plane crash. So, basically Spencer had a plane crash the day after they started dating.
Winter was devastated when she knew about the crash. During her "recover" because of the news, she began to have feelings for a boy, a "badass" from her school who was her neighbor for years. Their parents were really good friends and he became very understanding and a great support for Winter. That guy was Jesse, a handsome guy who was dating one of the most popular and beautiful girls of school.
Because I don't want to be a "spoiler" I think that I should go ahead and start giving my opinion about this book.
Before I started reading this I read carefully some reviews and I looked CAREFULLY for the rating and the categories of this.
The thing is that I started the book a little afraid of the end of it, I didn't want this to be a "cliché" book or a book that I could hate for the rest of my life. Then I started reading and started loving it, I fell in love with Jesse, and I felt a good connection with Winter and I had my heart beating so fast sometimes that I thought I would die right there, sitting in the stupid puff with this book in my hands.
I don't even know how to express my feelings for this book, these characters, this story... So if you want to know more about it read it.
