"I wish I could freeze this moment, right here, right now and live in it forever".
I was still reading the first book of the series when I watched the Catching Fire movie. I have this thing: watch the movie and then read the book... so I can criticize the movie while I read the book, and believe me, I did it a LOT!
In the same day that I ended the fist book I started this one and I was loving it especially because it was a lot different from the movie.
This book is amazing... I loved the first one a little more then I loved this one but I still loved it.
"You know, you could live a thousand lifetimes and not deserve him".
I'll be honest... I don't know what I liked the most in this story. I liked the relationship between Katniss and Peeta (obviously) but I didn't like the relationship between Katniss and Gale (I'm sorry if I'm being a spoiler!); I liked most part of the tributes this time, I liked the characters and the story; I liked the scenario and the way how things happened.
In my opinion this book was not so emotional as the first one... I was not that emotionaly damaged like I was with the "Hunger Games"... I don't know why, but I laughed quite a lot reading this book sometimes, and I only cried once... and even then I didn't cry a river.
“My nightmares are usually about losing you. I'm okay once I realize you're here.”
The story of this book is the continuation of the story of the book 1.
This time Katniss and Peeta after winning the "Hunger Games" return to their district, but because of their victory now there is a rebellion to break out. Supposedly Katniss was the guilty part of the rebillion because of the way she won the Hunger Games with Peeta. Now, because of that the Capitol decided that someone had to pay, so now two of the past winners of the games of each district must participate in this new game created especially for them... Winners against winners.
