I talked before about this brilliant story that is 'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green when I read the book... and I said all the good things that someone can say about something because I trully loved it and this story for me was ENORMOUS and AWESOME... and I got to the point that I was seriously speechless because I had tears in my throat and I was holding my breath because I didn't want to cry anymore... I seriously couldn't breath reading the book... some parts were so but so emotional... only who reads the book knows... I could not see because of the tears, so I basically was seeing everything blurry and I had to stop reading a thousand times because I couldn't stop crying!
And then there's the movie... I only watched the movie today... I know that everyone watched it before me probably when the movie came out... but I just watched it today... and it's like when I read the book... I'm speechless and I have that feeling that I cried even more watching the movie than I cried when I read the book and I'm not saying that the movie was better than the book because it was not... it's really rare when that happens... but I have no words to describe how good this movie was made... actually I have a headache from crying so much.
To be honest I was not expecting this... I was expecting to be disappointed because I thought that they would change the most part of the movie and that they would cut a lot of scenes but I have to admit... I was wrong... actually the movie was quite similar to the book (at least at the beginning of the movie)... they didn't change a lot of things, they didn't change anything I mean... the only thing that I noticed was the fact that they cut some 'important' scenes in my opinion but I'm not complaning because the movie was pretty big and I can understand that we can't expect a movie to be as perfect as the book and with so much details as the book... when the book is transformed into a tv show it is completly different because you have a lot of episodes and sometimes the tv show gets better than the book... but when they try to pass the story from a book to a movie the case is different because they have to 'squeeze' around 300 or 400 pages into a 2 hours movie... so I can understand why the movie is not perfect... but in my opinion it was one of the best 'based in some book stories' movie I ever saw... and I'm not just being dramatic!
