Synopsis: "Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.
She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
There is.
She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.
She’s wrong."

“Thinking something does not make it true. Wanting something does not make it real.”
I never read anything written by Michelle Hodkin, but I read a lot of stuff about these books (the "Mara Dyer" trilogy)... some people loved it, some people hated it, and I was kind of confused by that because I was afraid that I was not going to like these books for some reason since when I bought the first book I got the final three books right away. Some people said "directly" to me that this book ("The Unvecoming of Mara Dyer") was a mix of feelings and that this book was a mess, the story was confusing, the characters not that good... well, now I have to say that I totally disagree with all of those opinions... even if I heard some pretty bad stuff I also heard good stuff... actually some people said to me that they just loved this book, that it really was awesome, this time... I have to say that I totally AGREE!
So as everyone probably know, if you dont't you should read the information I write above in all of my freaking reviews (on my blog) because if I write that information is because I find it really helpful, this book has 452 pages and I read all of those pages in one day... I started reading the book and I was like "ok, this is pretty good", because I liked the way how this book started, I liked the first chapter, I loved the main character right away... so I was reading and reading and when I looked at the book (without reading, because when I read I'm totally focused on what I'm reading... bah, sometimes I confuse myself) I noticed that I was at the midle of the book, which means that I had already read 200 and some pages... (not good with maths, sorry)... and I was like "wow, I knew that I could read one book in a day but like this?" I didn't notice the time going by, I was so excited about this book, about the story that I totally forgot about the world.
As I said before I loved the main character, I also loved the male character that you can probably consider the second main character (if that's possible)... OMG, Noah... I mean, normally I want to marry the male main charcters, and of course that I would be pretty pleased to marry this bae, but Noah and Mara are so perfect together... I have no words, they are a beautiful couple and I totally loved their story, how they met, what happened in the middle of the story, the stuff that was going on between them... I'M SO IN LOVE WITH BOOK, WHY GOD?? WHY!? (don't say to anyone but this is my favorite book ever, for now... sorry... it is always changing).
Some people say that this book was kind of creepy, but I didn't found it creepy, some parts of the book are pretty intense yes, quite serious sometimes... but not creepy at all. Mara Dyer is the main character as I mentioned before like a 100 of times, and she has some problem that I can't say to you what that problem is because you'll kill me, because that's a spoiler... and reading this book you'll enjoy discovering what's happening to her, at least I did enjoy it, a lot... sometimes I was confused of course, but I think that that was supposed to be, maybe the author wanted us to be confused with the story, that's the idea ok? Of course that she couldn't say to us right away what was happening with Mara... that would be NOT funny and NOT cool at all mate!
Since I finished this book yesterday of course that I started the second one yesterday too... right away. I finished the first book and I just took the second book from my shelf and started reading it... and I'm going to say something to you, with me, that's not normal because I normally don't read the trilogy all at once... I can get pretty bored, I get tired of a story really fast... but this time it was different.
With all the stuff I said/wrote about this book I deduce that you can guess that I OBVIOUSLY recommend this book to everyone in this world right? I mean, it was so awesome (in my opinion of course, because when it is about books opinions may vary)... SO READ IT, NOW!
