So obviously that when it comes to movies vs. books I am that ONLY person in the world that watches the movie first and then reads the book... so yeah, I think you know that if you read some of my previous reviews where I always say that I watched the movie before I've read the book.
In this case/story I can say that the movie was not that bad. The story was not that different from the book, they didn't change much but they did cut a lot of things... even if it was not as much as they sometimes do in another movies... and the characters were more than accetable in this one.
I have a friend that watched the movie, but she didn't read the book... so she liked Gale more than she liked Peeta... and if I'd seen only the movie I could probably have the same opinion that she has... but I read the book and I think that the character (Peeta) has more to give than they showed in the movie. I think that some important things didn't appear in the movie, and for me that was a little 'heart breaking'... but despite the negative aspects I didn't change the score that I gave to the movie... and the score was obviously 10 stars.

In the review that I wrote about this book (check the review here) I said that if I started to read this one I needed to read the other two books of the trilogy and I was afraid because of that, because sometimes we just don't like the first book and we don't want to read the other ones even if they are not as bad as the first one... but it was not the case because I loved the book... so even if normaly the book is much better than the movie I was a bit scared that this could be one of those random and stupid cases where you didn't like the book but you liked the movie... yap, that can happen, so open your eyes! Nothing is impossible!
