Okay so, the first thing I have to say about this amazing reading is that: THIS READING WAS AMAZING! - yes, yes... you can say it... I'm SOO predictable!
As everyone knows I like to watch the movie before I read the book, (if you didn't know that now you know it... and I'm not saying it again)... and that's not because I like the movies more than I like the books because that's not true... seriously, sometimes I want to kill the filmmakers because come on... you can see from really far the differences between the movie and the book... which is pretty much aweful.
What can I say about this book comparing it to the movie?! - YES, the movie was cute and really awesome but the book was better... OBVIOUSLY the book was better! What's the point of changing a lot of things?! and what's the point of cutting importante information off the story... pfffff.... forget it!
“Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.”
Now, seriously talking about the book and not about the movie since it seems to be different things...
I loved this book so so much you can't even imagine, I loved everything about it: the characters, the story, the scenery... pretty much everything! I cannot say enough good things about this book, believe me... I thing that the writting is so accessible and that the author was so, but soooo smart writting this... I have no words to describe this book.
“We believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another.”
So I'm going to do a small resume of the story (I doubt anyone does not know at least a bit of the story but here we go...):
Basically there's a girl named Beatrice Prior ('Tris'), she was born into Abnegation society which is one of the five factions people are divided in (Abnegation is selfless, Candor is honest, Amity is peaceful, Erudite is intelligent and Dauntless is brave).
When the 'young people' turn sixteen years old they have to choose one of the factions... and after they choose they'll have to live the rest of their lives with their decision.
Everyone has to do a test, and that test will tell them which faction should they choose... but Tris is not a average girl, she's special... she doesn't belong to Abnegation, Candor, Amity, Erudite or even Dauntless... she belongs to all of them which is really dangerous for her... she is DIVERGENT...
